EuroGeoSurveys (EGS) and the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR) invited experts from all Geological Surveys of Europe to review the present groundwater situation in Europe and discuss options of harmonising the methodologies, in view of a coherent reference layer throughout Europe.
